Weixing Film Studio provides full production support for shoots across China, with Chengdu as our home base in the heart of Sichuan, a region known for some of the country’s most epic and diverse locations. We work across all formats, from high-speed automotive campaigns, motion content, and live streaming to large-scale brand films, feature productions, and print advertising.

With our in-house trained camera and grip teams, we offer true flexibility, adapting to any brief while keeping production streamlined. Our capabilities cover every aspect of on-the-ground execution: from studio builds to location shoots, from permit clearance for air and land to specialist rigs and aerial operations.

Our Crew

Weixing is run by producers who’ve spent years in the field, supporting international shoots across all formats — from fast-moving car commercials to large-scale features.

Our in-house crew is local, professional, and quick to adapt, paired with bilingual key personnel so nothing gets lost in translation. We’re trusted for our ability to work in remote and visually striking locations, with particular strength in automotive productions where timing, terrain, and team coordination are critical. More than logistics, we bring an eye for the image — and aim to give every frame the attention it deserves.

Our Services

At Weixing, every service we offer is part of one goal: making your shoot run smoothly from first conversation to final wrap. Whether it’s a location recce, building a detailed quotation, or providing a single day of drone work, it’s all production support to us — and it’s all handled with the same precision, flexibility, and crew quality.

Capabilities include:

• Production Support — Full coordination from prep to wrap, covering everything from early pre-production (budgeting, scheduling, casting, wardrobe, styling) to on-ground problem solving, and day-to-day set logistics for any size project.
• Location Scouting & Permitting — Year round scouting across China, from snow mountains and endless highways to highland grasslands and remote villages. We handle both airspace and land permits, securing approvals early — especially critical for drone aerial work under local regulations
• Studio Facilities — Five standalone sound stages, a 5000㎡ open-plan stage, a 3000㎡ standing set street, and a full LED/XR volume.
• Props & Set Build — Chengdu’s largest props warehouse, from antique to futuristic, plus custom set construction services.
• Equipment Rental — The biggest self-owned camera and grip house in Chengdu, including ARRI Alexa 35, Scorpio 45 crane, Bolt high-speed arm, and advanced drone systems.
• In-House Crew — Skilled local key crew (e.g. gaffer, 1st AC, art assistant) with bilingual on-set support.
• Specialty Shoots — Drone operations, high-speed motion rigs, and tracking vehicle setups.

Leadership

Executive Producers Ace and Yang come from the negative film era — when every frame was intentional and preparation was everything. That discipline, clarity, and strong eye for aesthetics still define how Weixing operates today.

They lead a committed team of producers and line producers who carry the same approach into every shoot. Leadership at Weixing isn’t strictly top-down — it’s shared across the team, so decisions made on the ground reflect the same standards of calm, structure, and respect for the image.
